Co-founded by Jessica Barnett and Shaye Routh, Southern Roots Kitchen is their next chapter: a local kitchen built around the comfort of a good meal and the people it brings together.

Jessica, Co-Founder, Executive Chef, and Operating Manager, leads the kitchen, develops the rotating menu, and prepares the food. Shaye, Co-Founder and Owner, helps bring their shared vision to life and connects the kitchen with the community.

Are the meals ready to eat?

Our planned meal-prep offering is refrigerated and ready to reheat at home. Each meal will include storage and reheating instructions.

Where will I pick up my order?

The confirmed pickup address and available windows will be published before ordering opens. We’re starting with pickup in the McCurtain County area.

Will ingredients and allergens be listed?

Ingredient and allergen information will accompany the menu. Please discuss dietary needs with the kitchen before ordering; allergy accommodation will need to be confirmed directly.

What about cabin meals or catering?

Cabin meal packages and selected catering are part of our longer-term plans. Availability, serving counts, and prices will be shared when those offers are ready.
